Much of the media did their absolute best to completely ignore the House Oversight Republicans’ press conference about the Biden family and allegations of bribery and money laundering that mostly took place when Joe Biden was Obama’s VP. Other MSM outlets are covering the story, but with the expected attempts to downplay the story. Politico took an approach that sounds so familiar by reporting that the claims about the Bidens might be part of a Russian misinformation campaign (hey, it worked once so why not try it again?).
Now it’s the New York Times’ turn:

The Biden administration awards the New York Times ten social credit points for this:
The Times must have watched a different press conference than we did.
Yes, that’s actually what the press conference revealed.
True.
Now the Left is of course using that story as “proof” that the Bidens did nothing wrong, so by modern standards of “journalism” the media has done their jobs.
Obviously it’s up to the Republicans to uncover and expose wrongdoing by the Bidens because the media’s certainly not going to do it.
Now the Times and Politico, et al, can say they reported the story and it’s time for everybody to move on.
