California Gov. Gavin Newsom is having a good old time on Twitter today, jumping online to compare Rep. Jamaal Bowman to Emmett Till and gloat over 2,000 jobs that will apparently be moving from Florida to California. Except there aren’t going to be 2,000 new jobs. The project has been canceled, not moved to California. They’re not building it anywhere.

The insufferable Ben Collins of NBC News didn’t read past the headline, did he?

Note the New York Times’ headline: “Disney Pulls Plug on $1 Billion Florida Investment Amid DeSantis Feud.” Not because of the feud with Gov. Ron DeSantis, but amid a feud with DeSantis. Pretty sneaky.

Here’s DeSantis responding to the news:

Maybe Disney doesn’t have a spare billion at the moment.

Disney cancels a $1 billion project thought up by the previous CEO that no one really wanted anyway. But it’s actually Disney punishing DeSantis over his “anti-LGBTQ” agenda.
