As Twitchy reported earlier, one of the dozens of people employed to run President Joe Biden’s social media accounts tweeted a “getting ready” photo, with a draft of the speech sitting next to a plate of half-eaten cookies. Who actually wrote this speech, though? White House Press Secretary promised reporters on Monday that “there will be no questions” that this is a Joe Biden speech — which we’re assuming will mean full of gaffes, fake stories from Biden’s biography, and a rosy outlook on inflation.

That’s not a good thing.

It’s no secret that presidents have speechwriters … don’t try to convince us that Biden was “heavily engaged” in writing this one.

We honestly hope Biden had nothing to do with the speech. Maybe Ron Klain left a copy of it behind before leaving the White House.
