This was touted by the Trump War Room, so it’s clearly a serious consideration by the president and not some flight of fancy. Although I’ll believe Congress can balance the budget when I see it. There’s no way I’m getting my hopes up for this because it seems unlikely to me they can get it done. But maybe that’s just my cynicism talking…
