Gavin Newsom wants to be President so bad you can see him slobbering over the desire. He is, given the horrible job he has done in California, one of the least qualified people in the country to be the nation’s Chief Executive, and his vile, dishonest, vindictive character makes him, well, frightening at best. All the great Leftist movements in the 20th century—in the Soviet Union (Lenin, Stalin), China (Mao), Cuba (Castro), Vietnam (Ho), Cambodia (Pol Pot) had charismatic leaders who could demagogue the ignorant masses—and they, to a man, demonized their opponents. Whether Gavin Newsom, or any current Democrat, has such charisma remains to be seen, but we certainly hope not.
Newsom recently called Stephen Miller a “fascist,” which is, of course, nothing new for the Left. Miller is not a fascist, not even close, when one looks at the true definition of fascism. Miller has never argued, as true fascists do, for a government takeover or direction of the economy; in fact, of the two men, Newsom is a whole lot closer to true fascism than Miller is. But with his hateful, mendacious rhetoric, Newsom is energizing the worse elements of the Left. And it’s hard to believe he doesn’t understand that. He has no real policy arguments against what Mr. Trump is doing at the moment, so he tries to stir up bitterness and malice among his sycophants by comparing conservatives and Republicans to “fascists” and “Nazis.” And then, naturally, he takes no share of the blame when his deranged robots decide that maybe the new “Hitlers” and “fascists” should be eliminated before they do to America what Hitler did to Germany. Gavin Newsom is much more dangerous to America than Donald Trump ever thought about being. But he loves, and wants, power, and he apparently believes this is his road to it. Or doesn’t care how he gets it. No Leftist ever has before.
Who are the true believers in “democracy”: American nationalists or American Leftists? Well, again, when we look at the history of Leftism, they love claiming to be believers in “democracy” or “republicanism” (the representative form of democracy). Just look at the names they give their totalitarian countries—the “Union of Soviet Socialist REPUBLICS”; the “People’s REPUBLIC of China”; the “Socialist REPUBLIC of Vietnam”; the “REPUBLIC of Cuba”; and my favorite, “The DEMOCRATIC People’s REPUBLIC of Korea”, and no, that’s not South Korea. Who can be surprised when the Leftists in America, the wholly misnamed “Democratic Party” in our country, claims to be fighting for “democracy”? That’s what Leftist, communist, totalitarian, oppressive, murderous regimes for the last 100+ years have been doing. And, unsurprisingly, when I lived in China, I actually talked to people who think their country IS a democracy. That’s what they’ve been propagandized and demagogued to believe. Is it shocking that it’s happening in America, too? Not to me, it’s not.
IF any of those countries ever allowed a vote (Lenin did, once, Mao never did), they never won even close to a majority in a fair election. So, they quit having elections (the people would have only had one party to vote for anyway), and started killing people. People who they demonized with names like “anti-revolutionaries,” “capitalists roaders,” “rightists,” or “imperialists.” Sort of like the Democrats calling Trump’s followers “fascists” and “Nazis.” If you can’t win the masses by persuasion and beneficent policies, you make the enemy look worse.
Folks, what the American Left is doing is classic, and I mean CLASSIC, modern Leftism. Lenin, Mao, the Kims, Castro, Ho Chi Minh, Pol Pot all came to power by civil war (or mass murder and terror). The Democratic Party, the Leftists in America, are doing everything they can to divide our nation, to create a situation where they can either take power peacefully, or if they can’t do that, then divide and conquer—civil war. Terror. Intimidation. Propaganda. Demonize the enemy. Build maliciousness in ignorant, easily gullible human hearts. “We must hate,” Vladimir Lenin said. “Hatred is the basis of communism… hatred is truly the beginning of all wisdom.” And who doesn’t hate “fascists” and “Nazis”?
The one thing the American Left has so far lacked is the charismatic leader, and/or a crisis that will shift power into their hands. Lenin came to power after World War I and the fall of the Czar in Russia. Hitler gained power on the heels of the Depression. Mao used World War II and the chaos its aftermath caused to start a civil war in China, as did Ho in Vietnam, and the communist takeover in North Korea. Can Leftists in America create such a crisis to frighten people to turn to them? They are trying. Do they have a Lenin, Stalin, Hitler, Mao, or Castro? Gavin Newsom would love to be that person.
Newsom and his ilk are not going to stop because this is what they are, this is WHO they are, this is what they believe, and they are a people full of hate, promiscuity, maliciousness, and true evil. Evil does truly exist in the world; it always has. And it needs to be eradicated. But in a democracy, that should be done by voting, not by assassination. The problem with Newsom and the Left is, they can’t get the votes without stealing them or bringing in millions of illegal people and hopefully giving them the vote. Again, Lenin never won a majority of votes in Russia; neither did Hitler, or Mao (who never allowed any voting), or any other Leftist thug—not in a fair election. So, these megalomaniacs took over by civil war, murder, and terror—any foul, evil means they could. We would do well to learn from history before America falls into the same trap.
The difference between decent, patriotic, God-fearing Americans and the godless, atheistic Leftists is—we vote. They kill.
