Let’s just call it what it is.
California is burning—again—and this time not just from wildfires, but from political cowardice, media gaslighting, and streets overrun by violent agitators and illegal criminal aliens. And while the nation's so-called "leaders" on the left wring their hands and shift blame, President Donald J. Trump is once again doing the thing they’re too spineless to even consider: leading.
This week, after Los Angeles was rocked by yet another wave of lawless riots—attacks on ICE detention centers, arson, looting, and assaults on law enforcement—Governor Gavin Newsom had the audacity to claim President Trump never contacted him. Not even a voicemail, he said.
Except—whoops—Trump brought the receipts. He did call. He left a message. He followed up. The White House documented it all. Newsom? He lied. Bald-faced. On camera. To America.
Why? Because he, like the rest of his fellow Democrat destructionists, is trying to rewrite reality.
While federal law enforcement and the National Guard were being mobilized at Trump’s order, Newsom was publicly implying the president was disengaged and indifferent. Meanwhile, Kamala Harris was nowhere to be found—maybe looking for her next photo op on a tarmac in Guatemala? And Hillary Clinton was busy tweeting about “democracy under attack”—though she wasn’t talking about the thugs beating cops in downtown LA.
It’s pathetic.
These are the same people who cheered when sanctuary cities defied federal law. The same people who openly welcomed criminal aliens with promises of free housing, legal protections, and taxpayer-funded benefits. They fought border enforcement, blocked deportations, and turned ICE agents into the bad guys.
So what happens when the monsters they fed come to the gates? They blame Trump.

The American people aren’t buying it.
Trump’s job approval on immigration—his core campaign promise—is at a record high: 54 percent. Why? Because the public sees the contrast. Trump is not just talking; he’s acting. He’s putting bodies on the ground in California to restore order. He’s cracking down on the border to cut the problem off at its source. And he’s exposing the lies and deflections of Democrats who have built their careers on turning a blind eye to lawlessness.
Newsom’s lie isn’t just a slip of the tongue. It’s emblematic of an entire political party that treats truth like a disposable commodity. They lied about border security. They lied about COVID restrictions. They lied about election interference. Now they’re lying about law and order.
Why? Because panic is a political strategy.
Democrats know they’ve lost the narrative. Inflation was wrecking households. But with Trump back in charge, it’s finally coming down—and Americans are starting to feel the difference. Crime is still a problem—but not in cities where leaders cooperate with federal enforcement. And illegal immigration? The pipeline is shrinking as Trump restores the policies that worked the first time around.
The left can’t afford for voters to see things improving—so they manufacture fear, amplify chaos, and blame the one guy actually fixing it.
They want the unrest. They want voters fearful. They want images of flashing lights and burning storefronts to fill the nightly news cycle. Why? Because if they can sow enough desperation and confusion, they think they can sell Trump as the villain.
But here’s the twist: Trump is the only adult in the room.
While Gavin is giving interviews and doing his best “concerned governor” impression, Trump is sending in resources. While Kamala is crafting tweets about “equity,” Trump is demanding justice for assaulted federal agents. While Hillary plays keyboard warrior, Trump is ensuring ICE and law enforcement aren’t left to fend for themselves.
And yet the same media that called BLM riots “mostly peaceful” are now branding Trump’s emergency response as “authoritarian.” Give me a break.
Let’s not forget—this isn’t Trump’s first rodeo. Back in 2020, they tried the same game. Democrat mayors and governors let cities burn just to make Trump look bad. He offered the National Guard then, too. Many declined—until it was too late. And when the dust settled, they blamed him anyway.
Fast-forward to now: same playbook, different year. But here’s the problem—for them.
The American people remember.
They remember who shut down their businesses and told their kids they couldn’t go to school. They remember who defunded police and left neighborhoods defenseless. They remember who ignored the rising flood of illegal immigrants flooding into their communities, overwhelming hospitals, schools, and city services.
And they see who’s finally doing something about it.
If you want to know what leadership looks like, it’s not Gavin Newsom giving pressers about climate change while ICE agents are under siege. It’s not Kamala Harris taking selfies with woke influencers while gang violence explodes on American streets.
It’s a president who calls anyway—even when he knows the call will be ignored.
It’s a president who sends backup to protect federal property and American lives, even if the local politicians whine about “overreach.”
It’s a president who says: “Enough.”
California might be the proving ground for Democrat destructionism, but it’s also becoming the spotlight that exposes it. And Trump, whether the left likes it or not, is standing in that spotlight—receipts in hand.
He’s not the problem.
He’s the only solution they’re afraid of.
