The US has denied visas to Abu Mazen and his band of criminals. I’ll write this article after I stop dancing.

Imagine trying to get your friend to go out with a woman whom we will delicately describe as not attractive. You try to convince him to meet her. “She looks great from a distance of 2 miles.” “In a citywide power outage, she could be Miss America.” This has been the approach of the US government in selling the Palestinian Authority (PA) as the good guys to the American people and the world for the past 30 years.

The PLO was considered a terrorist organization. Through machinations of the Israeli left and with the support and pressure of George H. Bush, Yasir Arafat found himself the belle of the ball, as Israel and its Western pals wanted to transform him from terrorist to statesman. There would be agreements that would create the PA for a short period of time until the Palestinians put together the infrastructure for statehood. 32 years later, the corrupt Palestinian Authority exists, and there are as few state-like elements as there were back in 1993.

For decades, liars and clowns like John Kerry and Hilary Clinton have told us “Hamas bad/PA good.” It was a lie but one that benefited Arafat and his band of murderers. He could periodically gurgle something about being opposed to terror, denounce a horrific attack, or say that he wanted peace. When the microphones and the ones holding them went home, he went back to his terror meetings with Fatah, Tanzim, Force 13, Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigade, and, of course, Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad. They were all on the same team, but Arafat and his people pretended to be the good guys, a ruse that the West was desperate to accept. Western leaders wanted peace at all costs and were willing to accept Arafat’s lies to hold onto some fantasy goal of two states for two peoples. Let’s take a look at some of the facts.

After the signing of the Oslo Accords on the White House lawn, Arafat flew to South Africa, where he gave a speech at a local mosque. Israeli agents recorded the speech and gave it to local news providers. Arafat talked of a million martyrs going up to Jerusalem, which would be released from the Jews through blood and fire. When the recording was translated, Israel’s leaders had some explaining to do: which was the real Arafat—the peacemaker or the terrorist leader? The one shaking Rabin’s hand in front of a beaming Bill Clinton or the one ranting in Johannesburg? The obvious answer was that it was the latter, but Israel and the West claimed that he was a real man of peace and was just playing some old hits for the folks back home.

The PA kept its fake credibility by occasionally doing something right. In the case of our bombing, the bomber was a PA policeman. PA forces actually arrested him for his plan to bomb a mall in Raanana, a city on Israel’s coast. So far, so good: the PA probably received information from Israel and acted to arrest a ticking time bomb. But where does the story go from there? A high-ranking PA intelligence officer sent a letter to Arafat asking what to do with this guy. And while our lawyers never found Arafat’s formal response, he did blow up shortly thereafter on King George V Street, injuring this author and his son, as well as 80 other people. A woman pregnant with twins, her husband, and another fellow were murdered. The indictments of the terror planners show that a PA intelligence officer sprung a PA policeman from a Ramallah jail, gave him a bomb from the office of the PA intelligence agency’s head (Tawfiq Tirawi), while receiving money from a sitting PA parliament member, Marwan Barghouti. During the trial, our lawyers suggested adding more counts related to our case. The judge asked incredulously, “Do you need to?” Our lawyer responded that the PA’s fingerprints were all over our case, and there was no need to add a thing.

Unlike all of their predecessors, Marco Rubio and Donald Trump have called a spade a spade. They have denied entry visas for Abbas and 80 of his PLO/PA cronies. I bet their wives are furious about the lost shopping opportunities in New York. England, France, and others want to declare their recognition of “Palestine”; the US government did not want to give Abbas the podium to bask in the glory of a country that does not exist, while he is already 16 years beyond the end of his term as president. The US did this once before to Arafat, and the UN responded by relocating its major September conference to Switzerland. The US has finally admitted that the PA is a terror organization and is not keeping its commitments in the signed agreements from Oslo forward. They continue to pay terrorists like the PA intelligence officer who organized our bombing. They have made zero progress in establishing the institutions and laws necessary for a functioning country. The Three Stooges’ country of Moronica was more real than the fake “Palestine” pushed by the Europeans and others.

Why have people knowingly lied to push the “PA is good” story? Because their maniacal drive for peace left them with no other option. Rather than saying that there is nobody on the Palestinian side with whom to make peace, they had to invent a contorted story of the PA really being good, even though around half of the thousands of attacks during the second intifada were tied to PA groups and individuals. At Foggy Bottom, they knew that the PA was a murderous terror organization, but if they admitted the same, then they would have to say that Israel should protect itself, bide its time, and wait for a real opportunity for peace. Instead, they put lipstick on the pig and continued to claim that Arafat wanted peace, despite his rejection of every offer brokered by Clinton and others. The Palestinians have always had only one goal: to destroy Israel. They have no interest in making a peaceful state, repatriating Palestinians from other countries, or building an economy. They want every Jew dead and the state of Israel gone. Many of those protesting in the West are saying as much. They are not afraid to say so; thus, they say it outright.

When one of the characters involved in our attack was made the #2 in the PA, I asked the FBI, DOJ, and State Department to have him arrested when he visited the US. He was not arrested but rather had meetings with Tony Blinken and his cadre. And this is the problem: this guy is a terrorist, and he rose to his position because of the same. Don’t meet with him, don’t give him legitimacy. Apparently, Rubio and Trump have figured that part out and have barred the entry of the PA leadership into the US. I have a meeting planned with the US ambassador next week for the purpose of begging that they not let this guy into the US. As the State Department has already taken action, we can now discuss the upcoming NFL season. The US has additionally canceled most visas of Palestinian passport holders.

If the Palestinians really want their own country, then they must eschew terror and choose leaders who represent life and not death. The Earth reversing its rotation is more likely to occur than the Palestinians finally figuring out that terror is a dead end. Israel needs to make the Palestinian threat nil until they leave for other countries. The first step is to grant no work permits in Israel. Let them stew at home. They liked the October 7th massacre? They can sit at home all day and think about it.
