When President Donald J. Trump nominated Pam Bondi to serve as our Nation’s Attorney General, I knew she’d be a game-changer. She’s always been a fighter: tough on crime, tireless for victims, and fearless when the political winds blow. But in just a few short months in this role, she’s exceeded even those high expectations.
From the moment she took the oath of office, Secretary Bondi went straight to work restoring safety, security, and sanity in our communities with decisive action. She’s worked to rid the Justice Department of radicals who drove its weaponization and spun the narrative around January 6.
She’s taken aim at violent crime, made the safety of law-abiding Americans her top priority, and sent a clear message: The days of coddling criminals and ignoring victims are over.
She’s dismantled policies that put politics over public safety, including working toward ending dangerous sanctuary city practices that protected repeat offenders instead of protecting the public. She’s empowered law enforcement to work together with federal immigration authorities, keeping dangerous criminals off the streets. And she’s backed the deployment of the National Guard to neighborhoods in crisis, bringing help where it’s needed most.
No place has needed that leadership more than Washington, D.C.
From carjackings in broad daylight to businesses boarding up after repeated smash- and-grab thefts to families too afraid to walk to the park and a revolving-door justice system sending repeat offenders back onto the streets within hours, our Nation’s capital has become a case study in what happens when soft-on-crime policies take root, despite what D.C. elites say.
Bondi stepped in and made it clear that the capital of the United States will not be a lawless zone. Under her leadership and President Trump’s direction, violent offenders are being prosecuted fully. We’re finally tackling the homelessness crisis. Police presence is returning. And for the first time in years, residents are seeing signs that their city can be safe, clean, and livable again.
This matters far beyond the District. When crime consumes our capital, it sends a dangerous message nationwide. If Washington isn’t safe, why should any other American city be? Secretary Bondi understands that restoring law and order in D.C. starts with restoring faith in the rule of law across America.
When safety breaks down, women are often the first to feel it. We’re the ones who grip our keys a little tighter when walking to our cars. We’re the ones who avoid public transportation late at night. Crime disrupts everything, and women carry much of that burden.
Pam Bondi gets it. She knows you can’t talk about empowerment or equality without safety. She understands that real progress starts with ensuring women and families can live, work, and thrive without fear.
What makes Secretary Bondi’s record even more impressive is the courage behind it.
She’s taken on entrenched political interests and hostile media without flinching. She’s rejected the failed “soft-on-crime” experiments of woke prosecutors. She’s faced criticism head-on and doubled down on what works: tough, fair, and consistent enforcement of the law.
Her impact goes beyond crime statistics. She has been a fierce champion for victims, making sure their voices aren’t drowned out by politics. She’s pushed for stricter penalties on fentanyl traffickers, targeting a poison that has claimed far too many lives. She’s stood shoulder-to-shoulder with law enforcement, honoring their service and ensuring they have the resources to keep our communities safe.
As a proud Florida native, I’ve had the privilege of knowing Pam Bondi for years. From her time as our state’s Attorney General to the freedom-fighting circles we’ve walked together, she has never wavered. Her devotion to the law isn’t just a talking point: it’s been tested, proven, and lived out in every battle she’s taken on for the people she serves.
I’ve seen how she engages with people, not just policymakers, but moms, dads, and small business owners who want their communities back. She listens, acts, and follows through.
That’s rare in politics today.
Bondi’s work in D.C. is proof of what’s possible in cities across America. If she could begin to turn around our capital in just weeks, imagine the difference if more leaders adopted the Bondi standard: tough, fair, and focused on results.
For those of us who believe in the America First vision, Pam Bondi is the model. She’s putting the needs of citizens ahead of politics. She’s showing that leadership means service. And she’s proving that strong female leadership inspires and delivers.
Every woman in America should be cheering for Pam Bondi right now because her fight is our fight: to walk down the street without fear, to raise our kids in safe neighborhoods, and to ensure the law works for everyone.
Pam Bondi is doing the job she was called to do, and she’s doing it exceptionally well. I’m proud to stand with her. America should, too.
