Dr. Robert E. Jackson, Jr., a family doctor and Bible teacher for more than 55 years in Spartanburg, South Carolina, has been on the frontlines of the prolife movement for almost as many years. He has organized rallies, co-founded the Carolina Pregnancy Center, debated legislators and physicians, and delivered a prolife message on hundreds of occasions. For his prolife work he was awarded South Carolina’s highest civilian award, the Order of the Palmetto, in 1997 by Governor David Beasley.
What makes him even more credentialed in the prolife arena, however, is the fact that he and wife Carlotta have nine children, two of whom have “special” needs. He joins The New American senior editor Rebecca Terrell “In the Spotlight” to talk about his book The Family Doctor Speaks: The Truth About Life.
