A recent Gallup poll found that only 34 percent of Americans believe the media at all, while 38 percent have no faith in mass media whatsoever. This is the first time the percentage of Americans with zero trust in the media is higher than the percentage with any trust. Part of this seismic shift in the media landscape includes a rise in “alternative media.” Kate Dalley is part of the cohort of alternative media rising stars.
