Tech accelerationists are working to integrate artificial intelligence (AI) into government. It is a rapidly growing movement, but the speed the technology is advancing is outpacing concerns about risks, explains Joe Allen, the AI editor for Steve Bannon’s War Room, to Andrew Muller for The New American.

The push is being backed by several movements; one is the Dark Enlightenment, a loosely defined intellectual movement that emerged in the early 2010s, consisting of thinkers critical of populism and America’s constitutional republic. Certain sects of the Dark Enlightenment advocate for tech accelerationism, arguing that AI should be unleashed in government to reshape society. This is a massive threat.

While not all advocates of AI technology are conspiring to overthrow the American republic, the unpredictable power that AI could have in government is cause for concern.

This month, President Donald Trump released a suite of policies on AI integration, including a 28-page plan titled “Winning the Race: AMERICA’S AI ACTION PLAN.” From inserting AI in education to the Department of Defense, the plans could not only diminish human capacity through overreliance on the tech but could also open the door for algocracy—rule through algorithms.

Even Elon Musk’s Grok AI is getting in on the action, recently announcing “Grok for Government,” which already has a contract with the Department of Defense.

Personal resistance to overreliance on AI is the first solution, according to Joe Allen, the author of Dark Aeon: Transhumanism and the War Against Humanity. Beyond the individual, businesses, schools, and churches must also resist over-implementation of artificial intelligence to preserve humanity.
