Following through on President Donald Trump’s Day 1 executive order that revoked President Joe Biden’s order to put “transgenders” in the foxhole — a dangerous blow to unit morale, cohesion, and discipline — the Pentagon has declared that those mentally ill or sexually fetishistic personnel cannot serve.
The mandate surfaced in a memorandum from Darin Selnick, the undersecretary of defense for personnel and readiness, that the Trump administration filed in a court. Entered yesterday, the memo answers a lawsuit filed to overturn Trump’s executive order.
It includes waivers for certain “transgenders,” most of whom are undoubtedly hurling curlers and lipsticks at photos of Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth.
In 2018, Trump banned most “transgenders” from the military, reversing a policy from the Obama administration. In 2021, President Biden, keeping his promise to sex perverts and crazy people everywhere, ordered “transgenders” into the foxhole with normal American fighting men.
On January 20 this year, Trump reversed Biden’s order with a promise to return sanity to the U.S. military.
“Consistent with the military mission and longstanding DoD [Department of Defense] policy, expressing a false ‘gender identity’ divergent from an individual’s sex cannot satisfy the rigorous standards necessary for military service,” Trump said:
Beyond the hormonal and surgical medical interventions involved, adoption of a gender identity inconsistent with an individual’s sex conflicts with a soldier’s commitment to an honorable, truthful, and disciplined lifestyle, even in one’s personal life. A man’s assertion that he is a woman, and his requirement that others honor this falsehood, is not consistent with the humility and selflessness required of a service member. …
It is the policy of the United States Government to establish high standards for troop readiness, lethality, cohesion, honesty, humility, uniformity, and integrity. This policy is inconsistent with the medical, surgical, and mental health constraints on individuals with gender dysphoria. This policy is also inconsistent with shifting pronoun usage or use of pronouns that inaccurately reflect an individual’s sex.
There quickly followed the usual far-left lawfare. The plaintiffs, a passel of trannies who sued in the U.S. District Court in Washington, D.C., argue that the ban “lacks a rational basis, is arbitrary, and cannot be justified by sufficient federal interests.” It therefore trespasses the due process clause of the Fifth Amendment to the federal Constitution. It prohibits the taking of “life, liberty, and property” without “due process of law.”
In fact, the ban is rational, as “transgenders” are either mentally ill or sexual fetishists.
That truth aside, the Pentagon filed details about the ban with the court.
Noting that military service “is open to all persons who can meet the high standards for military service and readiness without special accommodations,” the 13-page memorandum says that
the medical, surgical, and mental health constraints on individuals who have a current diagnosis or history of, or exhibit symptoms consistent with, gender dysphoria are incompatible with the high mental and physical standards necessary for military service. …
Gender dysphoria is incompatible with military service. Service by these individuals is not in the best interests of the Military Services and is not clearly consistent with the interests of national security.
With certain exceptions, those with gender dysphoria cannot serve and will be removed from service.
Most importantly, the Defense Department “only recognizes two sexes: male and female,” the memorandum continues. It cites another Day 1 executive order, and discusses the “transgender” war on women, particularly in sports:
An individual’s sex is immutable, unchanging during a person’s life. All Service members will only serve in accordance with their sex, defined in Executive Order 14168, “Defending Women from Gender Ideology Extremism and Restoring Biological Truth to the Federal Government,” as “an individual’s immutable biological classification as either male or female.”
As well, all service members “will be subject to the standard, requirement, or policy associated with their sex.”
The memorandum also ends pronoun insanity:
Pronoun usage when referring to Service members must reflect a Service member’s sex. In keeping with good order and discipline, salutations (e.g., addressing a senior officer as “Sir” or “Ma’am”) must also reflect an individual’s sex.
Women service members received some welcome news. “Absent extraordinary circumstances,” men will not sleep, change, or bathe with them, as Biden had ordered. Women are barred likewise from facilities reserved for men.
Nor will the Pentagon spend taxpayer money on hormone therapy and “sex reassignment surgery.”
The good news for the vast majority of military service members comes as the nation learns just how dangerous “transgenders” are once they infiltrate a government organization.
This week, the City Journal’s Christopher Rufo exposed a “trans cult” inside the U.S. intelligence combine. The cultists labeled patriots inside the intelligence community as “racists,” “transphobes,” and “homophobes,” and espoused Marxist ideology. Rufo learned that the intelligence agencies had more fruits and nuts than a tractor-trailer full of Quaker Granola Bars.
On government time in a chat room maintained by the National Security Agency, personnel with Navy Intelligence, the U.S. Space Force, and the Central and Defense Intelligence agencies spent hours discussing sex changes and perverted sex such as “penetration” and micturition fetishes. They even discussed giving birth to “intersex” babies so they can be raised “non-binary.”
The revelations led Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard — whom the cultists labeled “fervently anti-queer,” a “Russian agent,” and a member of the “MAGA cult” — to fire more than 100.
The cultists also expressed dislike of Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.
Rufo has not yet discovered whether “transgenders” in the military have used government computers and chat rooms to discuss similar sentiments and sexual perversions or attack Trump’s senior military appointments.
