But this is not the only mock-heroism in the world; there is yet another sort as mischievous, but still more ridiculous; and that is, a violent appetite for war, and victory, and conquest, without engaging personally in the danger, or coming near it; but being very valorous by proxy, and fond of fighting without drawing a sword. — Cato’s Letter No. 93 (1722)
For years, Mark Levin has fashioned himself the iron‑willed patriot and constitutional scholar — commanding respect in conservative circles, presiding over his syndicated show, and wielding influence over millions. But his recent, relentless push for war with Iran has exposed him for what he truly is: a warmonger cloaked in conviction, a man who would sacrifice a new generation of American sons and daughters on the altar of imperialism — and disgrace himself in the process.
Last week, Tucker Carlson unmasked Levin for what he is: a bloodthirsty fanatic, desperate to drag this country into conflict. Carlson left no doubt: Levin was at the White House, lobbying for war. He hyped the same fearmongering relics — asserting that Iran is just “weeks away” from a bomb. But as Carlson noted, “zero credible intelligence” supports that panic.
On his self-congratulatory Fox News-hosted sideshow Life, Liberty, and Levin, Levin thundered:
There’s only one way of stopping [Iran’s nuclear program] and that is by military action to destroy their nuclear program once and for all…. If that is not achieved then they have to be hit and hit very hard by the United States of America.
And if you think for a second that Levin wouldn’t gleefully sacrifice thousands upon thousands of young Americans on the altar of his bellicose bloodlust — fueled by nothing more than the fevered hallucinations of an unproven “threat” — look no further than the spin machine operated by the Convention of States (COS) mouthpiece during an interview with Sean Hannity.
“Do not appease, as their bloodthirsty ideology cannot be appeased — only destroyed,” Levin ranted with his screeching rabid fury.
This reckless warmongering isn’t new — it’s the same alarmist script replayed for decades, like a broken record. As Carlson put it: “Anyone who claims otherwise is ignorant or dishonest.” Iran has no nuclear arsenal, and no genuine plan to build one — otherwise we’d be in active war already. Instead, Levin’s chest beating hides a transparent wish for regime change, reckless of American lives. An assault on Iran would spark catastrophic blowback, potentially drawing Russia or China into the carnage. Levin doesn’t care.
But what makes this even more disgraceful is Levin’s role as the chosen spokesman of the Convention of States. COS brands its mission as constitutional cleanup — a grassroots uprising against federal overreach. Instead, they’ve crowned as their chief voice a man who advocates preemptive war. How does that square with the promise of a convention aimed at preserving liberty? It doesn’t. It reduces COS to another vehicle for the same interventionist, establishment ideology MAGA voters claim to reject.
Conservatives once warned about this: the deformation of constitutionalism into aggressive foreign policy. And guess who epitomizes that perversion? Levin, whose bloodlust outpaces his constitutional bona fides. Former Trump allies and MAGA influencers have pushed back, shocked that a pro‑liberty movement would embrace him. One headline even declared that “MAGA Melts Down” over Levin’s verbal shellacking of Trump envoy Steve Witkoff on foreign policy. Levin labeled him “a fifth-column isolationist” before accusing critics of spraying “neocon” as a slur, ironically weaponizing ethnic undertones to justify his bellicosity.
This is who COS elevates as their face? A man who traffics in fear, who weaponizes hysterical misinformation to justify endless war, who belittles and dismisses anyone calling for restraint as “isolationist”? His appointment dishonors the Constitution, the pledge to limited government, and the timeless promise that America excels not when she conquers nations abroad, but when she defends her own freedoms at home.
Let’s be clear: Carlson wasn’t just rebuffing Levin’s Iran crusade. He excoriated him for ignoring the obvious hypocrisy: Iran’s nuclear neighbors — Pakistan and Israel — have bombs. Levin’s cries aren’t about nuclear proliferation; they’re about ideology. It’s about picking on Iran because it doesn’t capitulate to U.S. global hegemony. That’s not conservatism — that’s globalist imperialism dressed up in jingoism.
For COS to align themselves with Levin is to shoot their already questionable credibility in the foot. They claim to be the true conservatives: defenders of the Constitution against the march of the administrative state. Instead, they’re offering us the same warfare-state hawks courting foreign entanglements and spinning perpetual war. They claim to resist globalism, but when it comes time to deal with Iran, they’re first in line to drop bombs.
This is the shameful paradox at the heart of Levin’s leadership:
Tucker Carlson’s rebuttal was blistering. He called Levin’s warmongering “scary” and exposed that he “doesn’t care” about the cost in American lives. And yet COS keeps him on the stage, giving him a national megaphone — while MAGA conservatives implode with disgust.
This is no exaggeration, brother. We’ve seen this sinister script unfold before: Iraq, Libya, Afghanistan — bombs dropping, blood spilling, all under the same threadbare banner of “shock and awe.” And every time, it was we the people — true conservatives — who rose up to slam the brakes on the globalist warmongers. Yet every time, the same vile script gets dusted off and run again, the same bloodthirsty calls echo through the halls of power, excused and applauded simply because they come wrapped in red, white, and blue, or spill from the mouths of so-called conservative icons. Enough is enough.
COS’s claimed millions of grassroots supporters must call COS to account. They need to jettison Levin as spokesman or watch their legitimacy drain away. How can they preach constitutional reform while dancing in step with the administrative state’s doctrine of war?
Levin’s convention-stage was meant to humble the federal leviathan. Instead, he’s become the face of its martial ambitions.
And so here’s the challenge for conservative patriots:
- Expose the hypocrisy. These calls for war with Iran are neither constitutional nor conservative — they’re neocon masquerade.
- Demand accountability. COS must choose between their alleged allegiance to the Constitution and the endorsement of disgraced war hawks.
- Embrace restraint and sovereignty. True conservative policy demands peace, self-determination, and avoiding foreign entanglements that bankrupt us and betray our values.
Mark Levin’s disgrace is real. His strident calls for regime change have fractured conservatives and MAGA voters alike. He has revealed himself as an instrument of the warfare state, not the liberty movement. Yet COS, by choosing him as their chief spokesman, has shackled themselves to his ignominy, sealing their fate as enablers of his disgrace. And still, not even a whisper of condemnation or the faintest hint of severing those ties has escaped their lips. They remain, to their everlasting shame, hitched to the coattails of this loathsome warmonger.
It’s time — past time — for conservatives who’ve been duped into supporting the Convention of States to decide whether they’ll keep turning a blind eye to Mark Levin’s disgraceful, disgraced, degenerate, bloodthirsty mania, or whether they’ll finally stand up and denounce the man who’s become the face of that fraudulent crusade.
And as for Mark Meckler, Michael Farris, and the billionaires bankrolling this sorry spectacle, here’s the only question that matters: If Levin won’t recant, will the institution have the decency to cut ties with him — to distance itself from the disgrace, the dishonor, and the moral rot that now drip from its mouthpiece, Mark Levin? Or will they keep propping up this shrieking, war-hungry charlatan, cementing their own complicity in the betrayal of every constitutional principle they claim to defend?
The hour of decision is upon them — and there’s no place left to hide.
Liberty doesn’t get advanced by sending young Americans into battle. It gets advanced by holding the line at home — against the federal empire, and against those within it who cloak themselves in patriotism while pleading for unnecessary and unadvised war that would lead to thousands of young Americans coming home in flag-draped coffins.
Let’s strike while the iron is white-hot, obliterating Levin’s hypocrisy, unmasking the vile warmonger who’s been conning COS supporters for years, and yanking constitutionalism back from the bloody jaws of endless war.
