It appears that the link between failed Democratic vice-presidential candidate Tim Walz and Communist China is stronger than originally thought.
Judicial Watch has released 47 pages of records from counterintelligence probes by the FBI and Department of Homeland Security into that connection, which show that China was quite pleased with the selection of Walz as the veep.
The reason: Walz was a fast friend of China, and once romanced the daughter of a top Communist Party official.
Had Walz been elected vice president to far-left Democrat Kamala Harris’ president, he likely would have been compromised.
“DHS and the FBI counter-intelligence investigation into Walz’s [Chinese Communist Party] connections determined that ‘China is happy’ with Walz … on the 2024 Democratic presidential ticket,” Judicial Watch reported of the documents:
Walz’s connections to the CCP were extensive and a concern to the intelligence community, according to the documents produced.
DHS personnel, Judicial Watch reported of the documents, discussed “how they were aware communist China had a plan to target politicians likely to end up in DC, specifically Walz and Nevada Gov. Joe Lombardo.”
“Walt’s got the Vp,” a DHS official wrote on August 6, 2024:
You all have no idea how these feeds into what prc [People’s Republic of China] has been doing here with him and local gov. It’s seriously a line of the intel. Target someone who is perceived they can get to DC.
Responded another official, “this speaks too to the rin [raw intelligence] you reviewed for us.”
The records, again, include Lombardo. “The perception narrative that has been pushed with one of the local ngos [non-governmental organizations] had direct ties to the former Gov here in Nevada,” another official wrote:
FBI has lead on a couple of things the only issue is being in the 9th circuit.
After citing an article in the Guardian about Walz’s time as teacher in China, Judicial Watch cited another official: “China is happy.”
Upshot of the documents, Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton said, is that the “Biden Administration covered up intelligence concerns about Tim Walz’s connections to China.”
JW received the documents pursuant to a Freedom of Information Request.
In one sense, the report on Walz is nothing new. The U.S. House Oversight Committee opened a probe of the Walz-China connection weeks before last year’s election. It learned that the Biden administration had such intelligence through a whistleblower and demanded that DHS give that information to the committee.
Indeed, the committee sought the same documents that Judicial Watch received.
Also of concern when Walz was an election away from the second highest office in the nation were his many trips to China and his sexual relationship with the daughter of a top communist party official.
Walz visited China between 15 and 30 times.
The Daily Mail exposed Walz’s affair with Jenna Wang. Walz “showered her with gifts and seduced her at his poky staff accommodation at No. 1 High School in Foshan, Guangdong Province,” the website reported:
The lovers could not risk holding hands or showing affection in public because Wang’s dad was a high-ranking figure in the Chinese Communist Party who would disown her for fraternizing with a westerner.
“The fact we couldn’t touch or kiss in public just made it all the more exciting and intense when we were finally alone.
“We were deeply in love and I wanted to marry him and start a family. When it didn’t happen, I felt very unhappy and sad. Tim’s behavior was very selfish.”
Wang was so upset that Walz jilted her that she nearly committed suicide.
Had Walz been elected, that relationship would have been an obvious national security concern. For China might have recruited a sleeper intelligence asset who later became veep.
If that had happened, as The New American reported at the time, it would have been the second major penetration of the government.
Tony Bobulinksi, a former business crony of First Son Hunter Biden, told the Oversight Committee early in 2024 that the Biden administration permitted Chinese Reds to penetrate the government. That penetration occurred because of Joe Biden’s involvement with son’s deal with China’s CEFC energy company.
Because CEFC is a subsidiary of the Chinese Communist Party, President Biden never should have permitted Hunter to get cozy with the company. Yet Biden “enabled it,” Bobulinski told the committee. The “process” to ink a deal with the Chinese communists began while Biden was vice president in 2015 and continued through 2018, he testified.
CEFC “successfully sought to infiltrate and compromise Joe Biden and the Obama-Biden White House,” he said. The company was a “known surrogate of the Chinese Communist Party by the U.S. Government and prosecutors in the Southern District of New York as far back as 2016.”
China picks its targets for recruitment wisely. Its intelligence apparatus apparently believes Democrats are easy targets.
Example: Representative Eric Swalwell of California. He, too, has a yen for Chinese women. He lost his spot on the House Intelligence Committee because he was compromised by a Chinese spy called Christine Fang.
Also known as Fang Fang, she raised money for Swalwell’s campaign, Axios reported. She also “helped place at least one intern in Swalwell’s office.“ Fang had sex with two mayors, but Swalwell never confessed to such a relationship.
