Nearly 650,000 illegal-alien criminals are roaming American streets, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has confessed.
In a letter to GOP U.S. Representative Tony Gonzales of Texas, ICE reported that almost 450,000 are convicted criminals, while another nearly 227,000 are criminal suspects. More than 13,000 are murderers, and more than 25,000 are sex fiends.
The data might explain the crime rampage that has left Americans vulnerable to out-of-control Third World criminals who rob, rape, and murder with impunity — even as they permitted to attend school during a murder probe or take over an apartment buildings in Colorado with federal subsidies.
The illegal-alien thugs are everywhere, waiting for their chance.
The news came from ICE’s Patrick J. Lechleitner, who carries the mystifying title of “Deputy Director and Senior Official Performing the Duties of the Director.”
What portfolio at ICE that hefty 11-word designation includes is unclear. All too clear, though, are the data Gonzales released.
Wrote Lechleitner:
As of July 21, 2024, there were 662,566 noncitizens with criminal histories on ICE’s national docket, which includes those detained by ICE, and on the agency’s non-detained docket. Of those, 435,719 are convicted criminals, and 226,847 have pending criminal charges.
An accompanying chart offers slightly lower numbers of criminals and criminal suspects running wild and free (non-detained): 425,431 and 222,141. Total thugs on the prowl: At least 647,572.
The data also include the crimes they committed or with which they are charged.
The major crimes are these:
Convicted Criminals
Criminally Charged
“ICE is bound by statutory requirements not to release certain noncitizens from ICE custody during the pendency of removal proceedings and notes that most noncitizens who are convicted of homicide are typically not eligible for release” under the Immigration and Nationality Act, Lechleitner wrote.
But “ICE officers may use their discretion in making custody determinations and release noncitizens with conditions,” the letter continued:
ICE custody determinations are made on a case-by-case basis and take into account the individual case circumstances, primarily considering risk of flight, national security threat, and threat to public safety.
Translation: If they want to, ICE officials can release murderers into your hometown. The same is true for rapists and drug dealers, and, of course, gang members and terrorists.
“As of July 21, 2024, there were 662,566 noncitizens with criminal histories on ICE’s national docket — 13,099 criminally convicted MURDER[ERS]!” Gonzales wrote on X. “Americans deserve to be SAFE in our own communities.”
The entire letter from Lechleitner to Gonzalez appears below.
The list of crimes committed by Biden-Harris “migrants” either caught and released at the southwest border or flown directly into the country is a long one. Barely a day goes by that Americans won’t read about one of them committing a particularly heinous crime:
And that list of criminals doesn’t include the illegal-alien gotaways — those never caught when they jumped the border — such as the Dominican illegal whom authorities have charged with the murder of a family of four in Irondequoit, New York.
