Zohran Mamdani has linked Andrew Cuomo, his New York mayoral rival, to the paedophile Jeffrey Epstein.

Mr Mamdani, the Democratic socialist candidate, called on the former New York governor to “release the Cuomo list” in a 90-second attack video.

He accused Mr Cuomo of conducting “vague” business dealings and urged the politician to disclose the names of clients who had paid for his services.

The race for Gracie Mansion has in recent weeks descended into something of a mudslinging match between the two candidates, with both politicians launching personal attacks.

In the campaign clip shared on Tuesday, Mr Mamdani called on Mr Cuomo to release the list of clients who have worked with his consulting firm Innovative Strategies LLC.
