



Dominic Raab has resigned as Justice Secretary after a meeting with Rishi Sunak following the publication of a report into allegations he bullied civil servants.
Here, The Telegraph looks at the runners and riders to replace Mr Raab at the top of the Ministry of Justice (MoJ).
Lucy Frazer KC
The Conservative MP for South East Cambridgeshire, Ms Frazer has been the Culture, Media and Sport Secretary since Rishi Sunak's last reshuffle in February 2023.
She had previously been the minister for housing and planning. Before entering politics she was a practising barrister and took silk in 2013.
Victoria Atkins
Ms Atkins has been the MP for Louth and Horncastle since the 2015 election, and is currently on Mr Sunak's frontbench as the Financial Secretary to the Treasury.
She has previous experience as a minister at the MoJ, as a minister between September 2021 and July 2022, leading its work on prison operations, youth justice, violence against women and girls and serious sexual offences. She also has four years of junior ministerial experience at the Home Office.
Victoria Prentis
Ms Prentis, the MP for North Oxfordshire, is currently in Cabinet as the Attorney General, which she has held since Mr Sunak took office in October 2022.
She spent almost three years as leader of the Commons, from June 2017 to February 2020. Sir Robert Buckland Sir Robert is a former justice secretary, who served under Boris Johnson.
He has previously been the Wales Secretary and a prisons minister, as well as spending five years as Solicitor General between 2014 and 2019 under David Cameron and Theresa May. Edward Argar Mr Argar is one of the two justice ministers who have worked alongside Mr Raab during the Sunak government.
He was previously a health minister and was a regular of the morning media round during the response to the Covid pandemic.
Brandon Lewis
Mr Lewis, a former Northern Ireland Secretary, was Justice Secretary and Lord Chancellor under Liz Truss.
However, he was dismissed by Mr Sunak and has been on the backbenches since October.
