Good evening. Police in Northern Ireland have declared a “critical incident” after a “significant” data breach.
Elsewhere, we have the latest from Ukraine as Kyiv’s forces mounted a daring special forces raid across the Dnipro river.
The Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) apologised for the security breach after it accidentally published the information in response to a Freedom of Information (FOI) request on Tuesday.
PSNI said Simon Byrne, Northern Ireland’s Chief Constable, had cut his family holiday short to deal with the crisis and will answer questions from politicians about the incident which has sparked widespread concern.
Alex Barton explains what the breach revealed.
It comes as the PSNI launched a separate investigation into the theft of documents featuring the names of more than 200 serving officers from a vehicle.
