Dramatic footage captured the moment crew members of the Barbados-flagged cargo ship M/V True Confidence were rescued by the Indian Navy after they had been struck by a missile fired by Houthi rebels in Yemen. 

Two of the sailors who died in the attack were Filipino and the other was Vietnamese. 

The INS Kolkata can be seen approaching the smoking True Confidence, with the crew being evacuated using floating craft and helicopters

Houthi officials claim that the rocket attacks were carried out in support of Palestine due to the ongoing war between Israel and Hamas in Gaza.

The US military’s Central Command condemned the attacks as ‘‘reckless’’.
