The Telegraph’s Ukraine: The Latest podcast, launched by the late David Knowles, has won a leading media award.

The podcast, which Mr Knowles presented with colleagues Dominic Nicholls and Francis Dearnley, won Podcast of the Year at the Society of Editors’ Media Freedom Awards on Tuesday night.

The win was one of two awarded to Telegraph journalists, with Simon Townsley being awarded Photojournalist of the Year for his work in Ukraine, Afghanistan and the West Bank.
