Snow has hit the south of England as flakes fall in the Home Counties, The Telegraph understands.
Earlier this week The Met Office forecast snow in Hampshire and it appears to have landed last night.
Hampshire County Council said its highway teams “remain ready, day and night” to keep its roads safe.
Other parts of the UK are also expected to see frosty conditions, with yellow weather warnings for snow and ice issued in the south and east of England.
London will see lows of between 1C and 0C and parts of rural eastern England could drop to temperatures of -5C (23F).
