Good evening. Sir Jim Ratcliffe has launched an attack on the competition watchdog over its “aggressive” and “increasingly hostile” attitude to business. We have more on his comments, as well as the latest from Wimbledon – with Andy Murray in action on Centre Court.

Ineos, the chemicals giant founded by the British billionaire, agreed a deal to buy a $1bn (£790m) concrete additives business from Swiss rival Sika in January. 

But the takeover was blocked by the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) and the company was subsequently sold to a US buyer, reports James Warrington

In a statement on Tuesday, Sir Jim said the intervention was further evidence that the regulator and Government were stymying British businesses.
