Conservative MP Bob Stewart has been found guilty of racially abusing an activist he told “go back to Bahrain” following a trial at Westminster Magistrates’ Court.

The 74-year-old MP for Beckenham was accused of a racially aggravated offence following a confrontation with Sayed Ahmed Alwadaei outside the Foreign Office’s Lancaster House in December last year.
