Weaving through a pack of masked protesters with her phone held aloft, a slight woman in her sixties pushes herself to the front of a colourful crowd assembled in Portland, Oregon.
Pam Hemphill, formerly known as “Maga Granny”, has come to the city to document immigration protests and to prove Donald Trump is wrong about Antifa, the Left-wing group he designated a terrorist organisation.
“This is my second time here. Don’t you have a right to stand up and protest? I don’t care what side, you want to make sure that both sides are able to do it,” she told The Telegraph.
“I don’t want to see that you’re violent, but I’m going to find out for myself, because they lie [Trump administration] about everything,” Hemphill said of her desire to travel to Oregon to observe Antifa protesters in person.
