Superman actor, 59, joins ICE after Kristi Noem scraps age limit

A middle-aged actor famous for playing Superman has signed up to work for ICE after Kristi Noem scrapped age limits for officers.

Dean Cain, 59, who played the Man of Steel in ABC’s Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman, announced he was joining the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to support Donald Trump’s mass deportation drive.

In a recruitment-style video shared on social media, the actor lauded the benefits of working for ICE and encouraged fellow citizens to join him to “help save America”.

“For those who don’t know, I am a sworn law enforcement officer, as well as being a filmmaker, and I felt it was important to join with our first responders to help secure the safety of all Americans, not just talk about it, so I joined up,” the actor and vocal Trump supporter said.

“Since President Trump took office, ICE has arrested hundreds of thousands of criminals, including terrorists, rapists, murderers, paedophiles, MS-13 gang members, drug traffickers, you name it – very dangerous people who are no longer on the streets.”
