Six people are fear dead after a tourist submarine sank off the coast of Egypt.
A further nine have been reported injured in the incident off the coast of Hurghada, a city on the Red Sea that is popular with British tourists. Four are believed to be in a critical condition.
The submarine, named Sindbad, had roughly 44 passengers of different nationalities on board when it sank, according to Egyptian media.
Rescue services have managed to save 29 people, according Al Masry Al Youm, an Egyptian newspaper.
The Red Sea Health Directorate and the Egyptian Ambulance Authority have been placed on high alert following the incident.
The cause of the sinking remains unclear and authorities have not yet confirmed final casualty numbers.
