Rishi Sunak was the guest of honour at a special baseball match in Washington on Tuesday night that celebrated the relationship between Britain and the United States.

The prime minister, who is visiting the US capital ahead of <a href="https://www.telegraph.co.uk/politics/2023/06/07/rishi-sunak-britain-ai-threat-joe-biden-visit/">a summit with Joe Biden on Thursday</a>, watched the Washington Nationals host the Arizona Diamondbacks on a warm evening at Nationals Park.

The theme of the match was “UK-US Friendship Day” and included a military flyover and performances by the Royal Marine Corps of Drums.&nbsp;
