A vehicle has exploded at a bridge along the US-Canada border in Niagara Falls.

The FBI described the situation as “very fluid”.

Local media reported that all four international border crossings between the United States and Canada in Western New York were closed following Wednesday’s blast at the Rainbow Bridge.

New York Governor Kathy Hocul said authorities are “closely monitoring” the situation and that state agencies were on site.
