More than three quarters of voters believe the Government has not achieved much in Rishi Sunak’s first year in No10, according to a new poll.
Mr Sunak marked his one year anniversary as Prime Minister on Wednesday this week and he tweeted that he believed “we’ve achieved a lot in the year since I became PM”.
YouGov asked voters in a survey conducted yesterday how much they believed the Government had achieved in the last 12 months.
Some 40 per cent said “not much at all” and 37 per cent said “not very much”, making 77 per cent in total for “not much”.
In contrast, some 14 per cent of respondents said the Government had achieved “a fair amount” and two per cent said “a great deal”. Eight per cent said they were unsure.
