Three emergency workers have been hospitalised after a police car collided with an ambulance while they were both attending 999 calls.

The two vehicles were responding on blue lights to separate calls when they crashed in Southampton Street, Reading, at around 6.30pm on Monday.

The driver and passenger of the marked police Vauxhall Vivaro received minor injuries, along with the driver of the marked ambulance Skoda.
