A classic <a class="ck-custom-link" href="https://www.telegraph.co.uk/aston-martin/">Aston Martin</a> which sat in a state of disrepair in a field for 20 years has undergone a full restoration and is now worth £500,000.

The 1970 DBE Mk2 was driven over to France shortly after it was made before being left abandoned in a French field after it caught fire.

The car was not moved for two decades before someone salvaged the rusty shell and moved it into a garage in Lille, north east France.
