Palestine Action protesters have been arrested after defying terror laws in central London.
Activists staged a second wave of protests across the UK on Saturday in support of the banned group.
Around 15 protesters gathered by a statue of Mahatma Gandhi in Parliament Square, Westminster. Several of them appear to be elderly.
They are all holding handwritten cardboard signs that read: “I oppose genocide, I support Palestine Action.”
More than a dozen police officers formed a ring around them before officers started taking down names, searching them, and taking away their signs.
A dozen of the protesters have been arrested and taken away into parked police vans that line Parliament Square.
Two of the protesters are lying on the floor and are refusing to be moved.
