A neighbour allegedly threatened the couple living next-door with a “shower” of cat mess amid a dispute over four inches of garden, a court heard.
Laureen Watson, 65, is locked in a bitter dispute with her next-door neighbours, Chris Cole, 38, and Ami Komoda, 37, claiming their fence strays four inches into her garden in leafy Disraeli Close, Chiswick, west London, as well as objecting to them extending into their back garden.
She wants a court order forcing her neighbours to tear down their new extension, plus an injunction barring the couple or their builders from straying onto her land, and compensation for alleged damage done during construction works.
But Mr Cole and Ms Komoda are countersuing, claiming they have been victims of a campaign of harassment which has ruined their enjoyment of their first years as new parents.
The couple claim they have been “tormented” by their neighbour, who they say went as far as to threaten to “shower them” with “cat sh––” amidst the dispute – but Ms Watson denies she is to blame for the dispute.
