Multiple people have reportedly been injured after a gunman opened fire at a Catholic school in Minneapolis.
“I’ve been briefed on a shooting at Annunciation Catholic School and will continue to provide updates as we get more information,” Tim Walz, the governor of Minnesota, said.
“The BCA and State Patrol are on scene. I’m praying for our kids and teachers whose first week of school was marred by this horrific act of violence.”
Unverified social media reports said that two people had died in the attack. Other reports suggested an explosive device may have been placed in the building.
Emergency services are at the scene, a livestream shows.
Three people died in the city in three separate shootings over Tuesday night and into Wednesday morning, Fox9 reported.
