American forces have carried out further air strikes against Houthi missiles in Yemen, the US military has confirmed.
US Central Command said that its forces struck a land-attack cruise missile and four anti-ship missiles that “were prepared to launch against ships in the Red Sea”.
The latest round of strikes came a day after US and UK forces launched a wave of air raids against Yemen’s Iran-backed Houthis.
The Houthis are targeting military and commercial ships linked to allies of Israel in the Red Sea.
The attacks have forced major shipping companies to avoid the waterway, impacting international trade.
