Ghislaine Maxwell said Donald Trump never did anything in her presence that would cause concern, according to reports.
The former girlfriend of Jeffrey Epstein, who is currently serving a 20-year prison sentence for sex trafficking, was interviewed by Todd Blanche, the US deputy attorney general, in July.
Over nine hours of talks across two days, Maxwell was said to have been questioned about the relationships between Epstein and a host of wealthy associates, including the US president.
Maxwell allegedly told Mr Blanche she had no evidence that would incriminate Mr Trump, sources familiar with the conversation told ABC News.
The president has been under extreme pressure to release the Epstein files after the FBI and DoJ jointly said they would not be making them public earlier this year.
