Man seen holding ‘I just f---ing love October’ sign at pro-Palestine protest

A pro-Palestine protester held a sign declaring “I jus f---ing love October” at a rally in central London two days before the first anniversary of the Oct 7 attacks.

The Metropolitan Police has appealed for help identifying him and 10 other attendees whom it said may have committed “potential offences” on the march.

The keffiyeh-wearing man was photographed holding up the cardboard sign, which also declared “long live resistance”.

The placard was illustrated with a downwards-pointing red triangle, which the Campaign Against Antisemitism (CAA) said had been used since Oct 7 attacks to “signal support for proscribed terrorist organisations such as Hamas”.

The CAA said in a statement: “In recent months, the inverted red triangle and its emoji variant have been used by some anti-Israel activists to signal support for proscribed terrorist organisations such as Hamas, inspired by the appearance of the symbol in Hamas propaganda videos to indicate targets for attack.”

Hamas is proscribed as a terror organisation in Britain.

The Met also appealed for the public’s help in identifying a woman who held a sign saying “I stand with the axis of resistance” and another who carried a tote bag bearing the flags of Israel, the Soviet Union and Nazi Germany.

Others included a woman captured on video saying “Hamas are not terrorists” and two other women who held signs declaring, “I love Hezbollah”.

The Lebanon-based terror group has repeatedly launched rocket attacks on Israel since Oct 7.

The placards were on prominent display, despite the Met warning on Friday that it would crack down on any displays of support for proscribed terror groups such as Hamas and Hezbollah.
