Lucy Connolly has said she will meet officials from Donald Trump’s administration on Saturday to discuss free speech after her release from prison for inciting racial hatred.
The 42-year-old was jailed for stirring up racial hatred against asylum seekers online after the Southport murders last year.
The former childminder was released from HMP Peterborough on Thursday.
The Telegraph understands Mrs Connolly will meet with Sarah Rogers, the nominee for Under Secretary of State for Public Diplomacy.
Trump ally Ms Rogers is a free speech lawyer who has previously litigated against social media content moderation.
