Labour donor Dale Vince joined a Just Stop Oil protest outside Parliament in a move which has fuelled fresh attacks on Sir Keir Starmer.

The multimillionaire founder of green energy firm Ecotricity donned a fluorescent orange vest and joined eco-protesters at a march in Westminster on Thursday.&nbsp;

He and other demonstrators took part in a slow walk down Whitehall - one of the group’s tactics that is designed to deliberately block traffic.&nbsp;

The green energy tycoon admitted that his appearance at the rally might harm Labour, but said that he wanted to show more support for the “incredibly brave” protesters.&nbsp;
