The jury in Sean “Diddy” Combs’s sex-trafficking trial was shown images of “freak-off” sex parties involving his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura.
Ventura, whose 10-year relationship with the music mogul ended in 2018, claims she was forced to have sex with male escorts in the drug-fuelled sessions, which could last as long as four days.
Privacy screens were erected in the hushed courtroom while the pictures were being shown. Combs craned his neck to take a look at the stills, as his legal team were given binders containing the images.
Ventura told the court on Wednesday that Combs had used the footage of the “freak-offs” to “blackmail” her and was scared he would use it to destroy her career.
Returning to the stand for her second day of testimony at Combs’s criminal trial on Wednesday, Ventura told Manhattan federal court the rapper blackmailed her with the explicit videos when he was angry.
“One time I dated someone else and that’s what it was all about – ‘I’m going to put out two embarrassing videos of you,’” she said.
