The wife of US vice-president JD Vance will visit Greenland this week as Donald Trump continues his campaign to acquire the island.

Usha Vance will join a delegation of several senior Trump administration officials travelling to the island on Thursday.

Mike Waltz, the US national security adviser, will join the second lady in what has been billed as a “private visit”, the Financial Times reported.
