Epstein’s ‘birthday book’ could be handed over to House committee

Jeffrey Epstein’s estate has been asked to hand over a birthday book compiled for him by his ex-girlfriend Ghislaine Maxwell which Donald Trump reportedly contributed to.

The US House oversight committee subpoenaed the estate of the late paedophile on Monday for a number of documents including a book that was compiled with notes from friends for his 50th birthday, his last will and testament, agreements he signed with prosecutors, his contact books, and his financial transactions and holdings.

Mr Trump allegedly sent a letter to Epstein in 2003 for the birthday book, in which he told his former friend they had “certain things in common”, according to a report by the Wall Street Journal.

The president denied sending the card, which imagined a cryptic conversation between the two men ending with: “A pal is a wonderful thing. Happy Birthday – and may every day be another wonderful secret.”

“Engimas never age,” was written elsewhere in the card.
