Harvard University has hired a drag queen who performs under the name LaWhore Vagistan who will apparently teach a course on RuPaul’s Drag Race.

The artist, whose real name is Prof Kareem Khubchandani, is expected to lecture in two courses over the autumn and spring, including one on the reality drag show.

The move may further inflame the university’s relationship with Donald Trump, who has apparently only just ended a long-running feud with the institution.

Mr Trump said he had struck a multimillion-dollar deal with the university to settle its dispute with the federal government after a report found it allowed anti-Semitism to flourish on campus and lowered standards in the interest of diversity.

In April, Mr Trump accused the university of “hiring almost all woke, radical Left, idiots and ‘birdbrains’ who are only capable of teaching FAILURE to students and so-called ‘future leaders’”.
