Disney increased security for Israeli actress Gal Gadot in the wake of her Snow White co-star’s “free Palestine” tweet, according to reports.

Rachel Zegler, 23, allegedly caused a rift with Gadot, 39, who plays the Evil Queen, after sharing the trailer for the studio’s live-action remake last summer with the comment: “And always remember, free Palestine.”

Following Zegler’s tweet, which amassed 8.8 million views, death threats against the Wonder Woman actress “spiked”, Variety claimed.

Disney then reportedly made the decision to pay for additional security for Gadot, who served in the IDF for two years and has been vocal about her support for her home country since the Hamas Oct 7 attacks.
