Sean “Diddy” Combs’s ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura is expected to take the stand on Tuesday on the second day of the disgraced music mogul’s trial.
Combs, 55, is accused of leading a criminal enterprise for 20 years, using his power to force women to take drugs and have sex with male escorts for days while he watched.
On Monday, the court heard from male escort Daniel Phillip, 41, who testified he was paid up to $6,000 to have sex with Ventura for hours while Combs watched.
Mr Phillip also alleged he witnessed Combs abuse Ventura, an R&B singer, on multiple occasions but did not report it to the police because he feared for his life.
Ventura sued Combs in 2023, alleging years of abuse, and her testimony is likely to play a key role in the trial.
Combs is charged with racketeering conspiracy, sex-trafficking and transportation to engage in prostitution. If convicted on all counts, he faces a mandatory minimum sentence of 15 years and could face life in prison. He has pleaded not guilty on all counts.
The court will be in session from 9.30am local time (2.30pm UK time).
