An ex-Treasury economist, who was one of Rishi Sunak’s most senior aides when he was Chancellor during the pandemic, will give evidence to the Covid Inquiry.
Clare Lombardelli, the government’s former chief economic adviser, is the first of three speakers scheduled to address the inquiry on Monday.
Stuart Glassborow, the former deputy principal private secretary to the Prime Minister and Ben Warner, a former special adviser, are later expected to appear.
