The British Museum in London has been evacuated amid reports of a stabbing.

Scotland Yard have not yet confirmed what time it happened or whether there have been any injuries or arrests.

MailOnline reported that police are dealing with the incident.

The Telegraph has contacted the Metropolitan Police for further information. 

Keira Renee, a journalist at the Financial Times, tweeted: “Was just waiting in line to enter.. Being told by police that it’s a large crime scene and that the museum will be closed until tomorrow.”
