A Hollywood director accused of sexually harassing the actress Blake Lively has leaked a new trove of private text messages in an attempt to clear his name.

Over the weekend, Justin Baldoni set a website live revealing his latest legal filings and a detailed timeline of his communications with Lively and her husband, Ryan Reynolds, also a film star, during the production of the 2024 film It Ends with Us.

The texts, which include Reynolds allegedly telling Mr Baldoni “I adore you” , offer a new twist in the legal drama consuming one of the US’s most influential couples.

In December, in the first of a series of lawsuits and countersuits, Lively had accused Mr Baldoni of sexually harassing her on set and orchestrating a smear campaign against her in the run-up to the film’s August release.

Mr Baldoni, 41, who has fiercely denied these allegations, countersued Lively, 37, claiming she and Reynolds attempted to “destroy” his reputation – and the new website appears to be his latest attempt to defend himself.

Entitled “Lawsuit Info”, the website contains just two links: Mr Baldoni’s amended $400 million legal complaint filed on Jan 16 against Lively and a 168-page “Timeline of Relevant Events” leading up to and following the film’s production, starting in 2019.

It reveals alleged previously unseen conversations between Mr Baldoni and Reynolds, 48, one of the world’s biggest film stars and the actor-producer behind the multi-billion-dollar franchise Deadpool.
