The fourth Republican presidential debate of the 2024 election cycle is taking place tonight at the Moody Music Hall at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, with four candidates appearing on stage.
Former President Donald Trump is skipping this debate, as he did the first three matchups, and the participants are taking the stage are Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley, conservative businessman Vivek Ramaswamy, and former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie.
The two-hour debate starts at 8 p.m. Eastern, and is being moderated by NewsNation’s Elizabeth Vargas; Megyn Kelly, host of “The Megyn Kelly Show” on SiriusXM; and Eliana Johnson, editor-in-chief of the Washington Free Beacon.
The event is livestreamed here by the online site Rumble.
