Mia Schem, an Israeli hostage of Hamas whom the terrorist group released during a ceasefire in November, in an interview with Channel 13 detailed the horrors of her captivity and described how she was able to maintain optimism even when hope seemed bleak.

“I told myself, ‘Stay strong, don’t fall apart here, you’ll be back soon,'” Schem said. The Washington Free Beacon assembled highlights from her telling interview.
